For three years now, IWC has returned to the theme of Saint-Exupéry’s little prince with special editions. In 2016, there will be four Pilot’s Watches featuring the typical midnight blue dial and brown calfskin strap with beige-coloured ornamental seams. A soft-iron inner case provides the stainless-steel outer cases with optimum protection against the external effects of magnetic fields.

Every day, one of the seven stars on the inner circle of the dial is illuminated in gold to symbolize the visit of the little prince to another planet. The same stars are engraved as a decorative feature on the case back and reveal the name of the inhabitant with whom the little prince is currently staying. The Pilot’s Watch Mark XVIII Edition “Le Petit Prince” is powered by the 30110-calibre automatic movement and, in terms of precision, fully meets the requirements of a professional pilot’s watch.

Water-resistant to 6 bar, the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince” has all the qualities typically found in a high-performance timepiece: precision, functionality and reliability.
